Introducing Oli PPH

Oli PPH is Baymatob's first AI-guided medical product based on the Oli maternity sensor, monitoring and diagnostic platform. Oli PPH is the only product to have ever demonstrated the ability to identify women who are at higher risk of developing postpartum hemorrhage well before they give birth, allowing for early prediction and clinical actions to prevent the leading cause of preventable maternal death. What is postpartum hemorrhage (PPH)?

Postpartum haemorrhage is when a mother experiences significant blood-loss after the birth of a baby. Postpartum bleeding can occur very quickly - blood-flow to a uterus at full-term is around 600mL/minute - hence an emergency situation can arise in an extremely short timeframe. When managing a PPH, every second counts. Oli aims to provide that invaluable time.

Breakthrough Device Designation has been granted for Oli's potential to identify a patient, during the intrapartum period, who is at higher risk of developing abnormal postpartum uterine bleeding or postpartum hemorrhage, in advance of delivery/birth.

The FDA Breakthrough Device Program is intended to help patients receive more timely access to breakthrough technologies that have the potential to provide more effective treatment or diagnosis for life-threatening or irreversibly debilitating diseases or conditions.
